HMTQ (Her Majesty the Queen) is the expression of Fashion Designer Toi L. Sweeney's vision to create a line of fine evening couture emphasizing the classic elegance and timeless grace that is a natural part of being a woman. Toi Sweeney's designs combine luxurious fabrics chosen for their ability to fall naturally against the lines and curves of the feminine figure.

Toi Sweeney began her career in fashion at the Art Institute of Philadelphia where she earned her first Associate of Science Degree in Fashion Merchandising in 1998. Toi utilized her degree in New York working as a Department Manager at Bloomingdales where she got a taste for the behind-the-scenes world of fashion while traveling to the buyers' markets where she previewed the latest upcoming designs. Toi's experience at the buyers' markets inspired her to take her career a step closer to what truly interested her, closer to design. Her effort brought her to the Buying Offices at QVC, Inc. in West Chester, PA.

As Toi's career flourished at QVC, Inc. her enthusiasm and desire to learn more about fashion continued to grow. Finding her passion for design had more to do with her own creativity than for merchandising, Toi transferred to the Image Department at QVC and began using that creativity as a Fashion Coordinator and Stylist.

Toi Sweeney's dedication to advancing her knowledge and experience in the fashion industry took her back to The Art Institute of Philadelphia in order to pursue her second degree in the field of fashion. After proving her talents to the prestigious Couture Designer Zang Toi during an internship, Toi was given the honor of working Fashion Week at Bryant Park NY for Zang Toi's Spring/Summer 2004 Collection. In 2004 Toi graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia with an Associate of Science Degree in Fashion Design. Toi's talent for design has been recognized with an Outstanding Achievement Award in 2004; she was also nominated for the Rising Star Award by Fashion Group International NY the same year.

Today, Toi Sweeney can be seen on Style Tips with Stephanie Humphrey acting as the show's Resident Stylist. Toi also continues to employ her talents on occasion with QVC in her position as a Fashion Coordinator and Stylist as she creates her ever expanding HMTQ fashion collection.

Toi Sweeney on HMTQ: "HMTQ comes from my personal pride in being a woman; a confidence I believe all women deserve to recognize within themselves. This line was largely inspired by a visit to Paris and The Crown Jewels of London. I laughed about how nice it would be to get up every day and choose which diamond tiara to wear. I think every woman should live in such luxury. So for every woman out there keeping her world together, juggling a career, family, relationships and education while still managing to keep her castle together, my designs are for you."
